Review: The Last Olympian

The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan My rating: 5 of 5 stars This book had me at the edge of my seat! Everything was so exciting and holy moly I just can't. Definitely it has become one of my favorite series and I can't wait to read Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus. One of my favorite things is that I took a test to see who my god father would be and it was Apollo! I just love Apollo he is such a chill and super cool character, and after I'm done with the series I'll read the Trials of Apollo. Rick Riordan you did a great job with this books 5/5 always. Review: Paper Towns

Imagen
Paper Towns by John Green My rating: 4 of 5 stars 2nd time reading this book and I still feel the same way about it. I really like the start. My favorite part is when Margo and Q are on their mission, and also all the clues(which aren't clues) that she leaves behind and all the thinking that you have to do through this book. But still, I find that the ending is a bit disappointing. With such an amazing start and body and the end just feels flat, like when you are running out of time and just write something to finish it already. If it had a different ending I will probably give it 5 stars but it just doesn't work for me :( View all my reviews

Taking a stroll around Paper Towns

Imagen
After I first read The Fault in our Stars by John Green, I inmediately  decided to read more of his work. So the first book I picked was Paper Towns. And let me tell you nobody was as excited as I was for this book. Then, the ending came, and I craved more. For me, this ending wasn't enough and I just disliked the book for it. Today, I will start rereading Paper Towns in hopes to see if I can understand the book a bit better, because let's be honest: when I first read it I was just a sixteen year old girl who started her reading journey. Maybe I just didn't understand this book. Maybe I just didn't like it. But we'll see. Until next time, Xoxo Marian

Review: Eliza and Her Monsters

Imagen
Eliza and Her Monsters by Francesca Zappia My rating: 5 of 5 stars So this book came in my May Owlcrate, and it wasn't even out when I received it. I've never read or heard anything about this author before and let me tell you Mrs Francesca Zappia, you really impressed me. This book (as always) it made me cry, it made me laugh, I just loved it. The way Eliza felt, just clicked something in me, and made me realize that I have felt like this sometimes. And to see someone (even tho it is just a book character) having issues similar to mine, it just made me feel better about myself, even if my problems aren't as big as Eliza's it still help. This is one of those books, that after you finished them you just sit there, rethinking about your life, and you just feel happy and so peaceful. So definitely, 5 stars of me. And can't wait to read more of Francesca Zappia's work. View all my reviews

Review: Everything, Everything

Imagen
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon My rating: 5 of 5 stars Spoilers ahead so if you haven't read the book: stop here :) Basically the only reason I read this book is because I really wanted to see the movie, and I know that if I saw it before I read it, I probably woulnd't get to the book. Anyways, this book was amazing. I've seen so many people talk about it but I didn't know if it was true and I can tell you 100% that it is. This book made me so sad with all about Maddy's condition and the way she had to live her life. I totally predicted that she wasn't sick (and I'm not one who predicts things). Since the first few pages I just didn't like her mom and I knew something was off about her, but I just pushed it and went we find the truth I was like HA I knew it! One thing I would've liked would be another ending, like the one that it has is pretty great but I just wanted to see more of Olly (he is boyfriend goals omg), but I ...

Review: The Robber Knight's Love

Imagen
The Robber Knight's Love by Robert Thier My rating: 5 of 5 stars I loved this book. Again Sir Rob, you can make me travel to your books and I feel like I am there watching everything. I love how you portrayed the relationship of Ayla and Reuben, and that even though we know they are in love you didn't push it but gave them time, cause I mean they are in the middle of war! At first I was reluctant to read this series but I am completely falling in love with every book. Onto the 3rd book now! View all my reviews
